Our current infrastructure includes two data centers, a mix of physical and virtual Linux and Windows servers, SQL Server, Asterisk, and a lot of home-grown software. VOIP is a major component of our business, and we are currently eye-balling cloud options for our growth.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to internal help desk calls and emails
- Set up user accounts and groups
- Set up and troubleshoot/repair computers
- Manage physical access control system and tokens
- Help manage equipment in two data centers, including network infrastructure, servers, and software
- Support PBX and VOIP phones
- Help administer network monitoring system, alerting, log management, and IT systems
- Update and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Deploy software updates and security patches
- Support/maintain server backups
- Become a guru that people will go to for issues related to data centers and infrastructure
- Other projects as necessary
Technical/Skill Requirements:
- Practical experience providing front line support in a Windows client server environment
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012+ administration, including Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of PC hardware and troubleshooting
- Understanding of IP networking and WiFi
- Familiarity with common protocols such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SMB
- Basic knowledge of Linux

- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
- Able to learn new skills and technology quickly
- Be able to join a 24/7 on-call rotation
- Energetic with amazing customer service skills and a team-oriented approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to move/lift up to 40lbs
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Must live within a 30 minute driving distance to El Segundo
Bonus Points For:
- Advanced knowledge of Linux
- Experience in AWS/Azure
- Experience with VOIP systems
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, MCSE and/or MCP
